Hyperliquid Hits $1B Fee Milestone
Hyperliquid is expanding its decentralized perpetuals dominance through record open interest, tokenized equities, growing fee revenue, and HYPE token buybacks.
Hyperliquid surpassed $1 billion in total fees generated since its 2024 launch. USDC monthly transfer volume on the platform reached $45.58 billion, adding a concurrent on-chain activity metric to the fee milestone. Grayscale separately listed a Hyperliquid staking ETF on Nasdaq with the lowest fees in its category.
HYPE: the $1.2 billion business
4.5% of all HYPE ever created has already been bought back and removed - paid for entirely by trading fees, not venture capital or token sales.
$1.2 billion isn't a fundraising number. It's revenue that Hyperliquid is systematically converting into a smaller total supply cap as the platform grows.
Most crypto tokens are priced on narrative. HYPE is increasingly priced on cashflow. That's a different animal.
