BlackRock Puts Tokenised Share Classes on Its $311B European Cash Range — Minted on Ethereum via JPMorgan
BlackRock launched its first tokenised fund access in Europe on August 4: twelve Ethereum-based share classes across six Institutional Cash Series money-market funds holding a combined $311 billion, built with Kinexys by JPMorgan, per The Block. Each token represents a fund share and transfers 24/7 between approved wallets, while the official shareholder register remains with the traditional transfer agent; the on-chain portion is expected to start small. The classes are limited to professional and qualified investors across 15 markets.
