DTCC Completes Live Tokenized Securities Trades With JPMorgan, BlackRock, Goldman Sachs; October Service Launch Set
DTCC is rolling out a live tokenized securities platform, progressing from pilot demonstrations to a formal October service launch with major institutional partners.
The DTCC completed live tokenized securities trades with JPMorgan, BlackRock, and Goldman Sachs as counterparties, involving tokenized shares of Microsoft, QQQ, SPY, and SHV, and announced a formal tokenization service launching in October with approximately 40 participating firms. JPMorgan separately tokenized the Invesco QQQ ETF on both public and private blockchain networks. Chainlink was identified as the oracle provider embedded in the DTCC's tokenization stack.
