Israel's Largest Bank Will Offer Bitcoin, Ether and Solana Trading From Early 2027 — Second Time Lucky

Bank Leumi announced a partnership with Galaxy Digital to let customers of the bank and its Pepper mobile arm buy, hold and sell bitcoin, ether and solana inside the Leumi Trade app, expected from early 2027 — which would make it the first Israeli bank to offer crypto trading. Galaxy provides trading (GalaxyOne Institutional) and custody (the former GK8). A 2022 attempt with Paxos was shelved after the Bank of Israel declined approval; Israeli regulators loosened crypto-deposit rules in July.
