THORChain v3.20 Adds Native Monero and Zcash Swap Support as Network Restores From May Exploit
THORChain is rolling out native privacy coin swap support for Monero and Zcash, driving price rallies across RUNE and XMR.
THORChain deployed version 3.20, which the project says enables native swaps of Monero and Zcash against Bitcoin, Ethereum and stablecoins — no wrapped tokens, accounts or custodians — per its press release. Independent coverage notes the privacy-coin pools launch gradually, seeded with shallow protocol-owned liquidity, and that the upgrade also restores vault rotation and progressively resumes trading paused since May's $10.7 million exploit. Zcash previously funded a Least Authority audit of related integration work.
