Zcash launched the Zakura full node, targeting throughput of 50,000 transactions per second — Visa-scale capacity. The launch coincides with the official retirement of the original zcashd node software after ten years of operation, completing the transition to the Zebra-based client stack documented in the NU6.3 roadmap.
