Polymarket Just Launched 20x Perps — the Prediction Markets Are Coming for the Derivatives Business

Polymarket launched perpetual futures with up to 20x leverage, per Decrypt and other coverage, with reporting also citing an expansion into oil perpetuals in the same launch window. The launch lands days after Kalshi introduced regulated US perpetual futures — two prediction-market platforms entering the perps business in one week, one from the regulated side, one on-chain, while Hyperliquid's US entry remains at the talks stage.
