Cypherpunk Technologies launched Cypherpunk Mining on Tuesday, acquiring 4,902 Zcash mining machines from a Winklevoss Capital affiliate in a $33.33 million all-equity deal — paid via a warrant for 43.3 million CYPH shares. The company says the fleet, already running across three US sites, represents about 18% of Zcash's network hashrate, making it the largest single operator. Cypherpunk holds 323,394 ZEC (~1.92% of supply) and targets 5%, with ex-Foundry executive Kevin Zhang heading mining.
